Baby Shower Decorations for Your Shower Baby Party
Baby Shower Decorations and Invitations – Choosing the baby shower supplies, baby shower games and selecting from among the many baby shower themes can be lots of work, especially if you’re fairly new to the event. However, the Shower Decorations, are only part of what goes into making a fabulous shower party, For example, you’re going to need an amazing theme and that theme needs to be reflected not just in the colors of the napkins but in every part of the celebration, including the invitations. So let the baby stationery online pros give you some handy ideas that can make this part a bit easier.
Tip #1: Choose Your Theme Early
While hosting baby shower, after you’ve chosen a location and put together a guest list, you can begin deciding on a theme for the event. You need to make the decision early since the Baby Shower Decorations need to be purchased and need to match that theme. For example, let’s say the mother-to-be already knows she’s going to have a baby girl. Maybe the theme of the party could be the traditional pink and white colors or you could pick a princess theme or something similar. One way to find ideas is to browse our selection of invitations for these events. There are dozens of unique choices that will help you add the final touches to a very unique party baby shower while planning baby shower.
Tip #2: Use the Theme Consistently
One of the biggest mistakes new party planners can make is not be consistent with the theme they have selected. For example, maybe you’ve decide to choose frogs for the baby shower party decorations. That’s a fun choice and looks great on wrapping paper. But you also need to use frogs on the cake, in the games (if possible), and throughout the rest of the event. Only by being consistent with your decorations can you ensure the theme is recognized. And remember you want this theme to be included on the baby invites as well.
Now if you’ve already chosen a theme and can’t find an invite that fits exactly what you need, just let them know. These online shoppes are dedicated to providing you with the Baby Showers Invitation, that is going to fit your party’s needs to a tee. And that means they’ll also personalize and customize any stationery you select from their site.
Tip #3: Don’t Overdo the Decorations
Some hosts get so excited about the Baby Shower Decorations that they end up really going crazy and overdoing them. Remember that with Baby Shower Decorations, less is sometimes more. Be mindful of current baby shower trends styles. Generally, you’re going to want some type of centerpiece. The baby diaper cakes that can be decorated to fit your theme can be a great additional gift for the mother-to-be. You might want some Baby Shower Decorations for the walls and maybe something for the doors and place settings. All this should be included in your baby shower budget costs.

Decorations:
blue and white streamers and balloons.
baby bottles with candy in them.
Games:
put something in a diaper and have everyone smell and guess what it is. like: onion, bleach, soap…
sing kareoke with the word baby in them and you have to skip the word baby.
put a bunch of baby related items in a basket, show everyone once what is in it and then they try to write down all the things they remember.

Pasta is cheap, goes a long way, and is filling- so you can add a little more of an expensive ingredient to make it impressive – something like shrimp scampi would be nice. Then all you need to serve with it is a beautiful tossed salad. Otherwise, chicken would be my next though – what about chicken piccata? I would serve that, again, with a salad, and then just some steamed asparagus or broccoli….very nice.
Silly 1 recommended oriental trading and they DO have a lot of fun stuff for pretty cheap – that's a great idea. Otherwise, I would keep it simple – if you all know the sex of the baby to a pink/silver or blue/silver theme. Otherwise, a light green or yellow with silver theme will work.
If you can, mix up a cd or music station with "baby" themed songs – that'd be nice, too!
Oh! And if you aren't already stocked with cloth napkins, candles, fancy glasses, and that sort of thing, you can actually find some pretty nice things at the dollar store (no one has to know but you!)

I always make those little round coloured sandwiches. First you have to find a grocery store that will bake you bread in pink, yellow, green, blue and possibly purple. Ask them to cut it length wise instead of normal. Take a piece of bread and cute the crust off of it. Then lightly butter it and spread egg salad, tuna, salmon, or cream cheese on it. (I use a variety and mix up the pickles and olives with different toppings). Then before rolling it up put a line of olives, gherkins or baby dills at the end and roll it up. Rap it tightly in saran wrap and refrigerate over night. When you are ready to serve them, unroll each one and cut into slices. You should get 5-6 slices from each one. They look beautiful on a platter and they taste delicious. Good luck.
